About Us ... A New Face to a Proud Tradition!
The Baltimore Hebrew Congregation (BHC) Brotherhood is open to any man of the Jewish faith or sympathetic to that faith who has expressed a willingness to subscribe to the aims and purposes of the Brotherhood.
Members are encouraged to engage in any activities related to these enumerated purposes. These activities include:
- Support for BHC schools with Traffic Squad
- Fund Gifts for Bar/Bat Mitzvah candidates and Confirmands
- Financial support and dinners for students
- Providing ushers for High Holiday and Shabbat services
- Daily services for mourners
- Financial contributions and personnel to serve at soup kitchens
- Participate in Interfaith Activities
- Jewish Chautauqua Society Interfaith lectureships at local colleges
